Swami Vivekananda-Laws of Life

A depressed boy asked swami -"can there be anything worse than losing a girlfriend?"

Swami replied- "Yes, losing your confidence of getting another"

    THOUGHTS
We are what our thoughts have made us;
So take care about what you think.
Words are secondary. Thoughts live; they travel far.

CONCENTRATION

When an idea exclusively occupies the mind
it is transformed in to an actual physical or mental state.

Who has all the knowledge in the world been gained but by the concentration of the
powers of mind? The world is ready to give up its secret if we only know how to
knock, how to give it the necessary blow. The strength and force of the blow
come through concentration. There is no limit to the power of the human mind.
The more concentrated it is, the more power is brought to bear on one point.
That is the secret.

A detail account of Ex-Prince Paras Shah's heart-attack.

By Sunil Khadka

Last 22nd Mangshir, how can I forget that day? One of my Nepalese friend called me and said "Ex-prince is chased by someone, please rescue him." I haven't had any interaction with prince before. Though I also used to live in Bangkok, but I have never seen him. He being Ex-Prince and more importantly a Nepali citizen, I thought it was my responsibility to help him.

Ex-Prince Paras used to live in an apartment of Bangkok. There, some newly introduced 'suspicious' foreigners assaulted inside his apartment. He left that apartment due to insecurity after that and went to live in a hotel of Phuket. Even there he felt insecure. Some foreigners with suspicious nature used to come to introduce and meet him. Moreover, he felt like some such people following/chasing him constantly.

And one day while staying in hotel, he found somebody following him and he called some Nepalese he knew. Then, 3 Nepalese went there, put him in their car and took him to another place. Another vehicle was still following him from behind. Then one panicked Nepalese (friend of mine) called me very fearfully. I decided to help him and called them at the parking near my house. They came in full speed. Hurriedly I put Paras into my car. And I sped the car at the speed of 145kph. That was like flying not like driving. For a while, we had seen a vehicle following us. But I confused that and move ahead. I kept on driving my car for long on the open highway and after driving around 200km, I felt like we are now saved and took a deep breath.
