US-Craze & things to be considered.

Now the craze to US study is tremendous. Students get fascinated to study there, merely knowing the fact that US is a developed nation and supreme power in the world. Meanwhile, they don't simply analyse all aspects of student life in there, or they don't think meticulously weather USA is actually suitable for them or not either. Before reading this blog please read my another blog post which will give you the basic clues of student life in USA, by clicking here. I will discuss here the few things to be considered based on the financial issue, before considering US for the further studies. US is not always a charming destination to purse the further education, your life can really be a hell on Earth if you leap without looking.

Many students think that, if they get US-Visa everything will be all right. If they can convince the consular about the financial aspect, this problem is solved permanently thenceforth. They can simply borrow money and do the rest proceedings. Job is ready for them after they get in there and they can simply pay the money back doing the job, enjoy their life in there and continue their study too. It feels really good while imagining. But the reality is way beyond this. US of your fantasy is totally different from the real US.  So never apply to USA if you are not financially sound. It is a capitalist country, everything is money in there. Off campus job is illegal in USA and on campus job, which is only a legal job there is limited to 20 hours per week during the regular school term and 40 hours per week during vacations. On campus jobs is really hard to get because US is an educational hub from all around the globe.

If you already have a loan to pay, you are obliged to choose the illegal way. It is not only a serious offence, It also interferes in your studies tremendously. You neither can make enough money nor you can do well in the studies due to the work load. All the universities in US are not Harvard and Princeton. Good universities are unaffordable for the middle-class. If your financial status is weak you have to choose the normal i.e. state funded university. Degree from such university is definitely not a decent one. That means, that degree is simply not capable to make you jobholder of the multinational ventures as you'd dreamt of before your arrival. If you are obliged to send money back to your home country, then your life in US is really gonna be a hell in earth. Colleges tuitions are already expensive. Living cost is expensive too. How can you save money in spite of that and how can you pay your loan in time?  If you think you can solve the recent financial problem of your family by US student visa, you are actually jeopardizing the situation. Here is a short promo from the students there in USA, it might also help you to figure out the real student life there PROMO.

If you believe in consultancy that is even more ludicrous! Their job is to lure you. They just elaborate you some crappy exaggeration in regard to Hollywood, NASA, highly successful US enterprises, you name it and make money out of that. But student life is obviously not like that. Since you are planning for studying in the highly developed nation, you should be able to take the decisions of your own, considering your all aspects. Now you can get all the informations within a minute in your fingertips. You can simply email and get all details directly from the university. And if you can't take the decisions of your own how are you gonna sustain there?

You can argue that all the students are doing so and are doing good there. Their real life is totally different from the one you see in Facebook. Very smart students are doing normal jobs and ruining their studies due to the compulsions. Those students who are there on scholarships and whose parents are capable of funding their study for the entire duration of their studies are doing very good too.

So set your clear route to head ahead, don't let your greed or other's exaggeration cloud your vision. There is always a better way to do something You can do your bachelor from Nepal instead of hurrying and apply for the scholarships after that. Lots of partial scholarships can be got in undergraduate level too, which consultancies rarely will tell you. So "look before you leap" . Good luck.
